My career journey began at Philips Healthcare, where I played a key role in developing and designing their healthcare systems, including healthcare management and document management systems.

During my tenure at Philips, I delved into speech recognition and dictation systems, working on devices, drivers, and other related technologies. My next significant role was with JM Family Enterprises, one of the largest family offices in the US. There, I held various positions in application architecture, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy for a fintech subsidiary. Notably, I architected, designed, led, and operationalized a wholesale management system that processes over $100 billion in auto & real estate loan financial transactions annually. The core general ledger and distributed processing engines I developed for this system are still in use today. Additionally, I spearheaded internal tools development and cloud migration to Azure, and was responsible for the design, development, and rollout of their risk management and dealer loan management systems.

Following JM Family, I led architecture and R&D at BSI, where I guided a team of architects and business analysts, providing expertise to all product teams. My accomplishments at BSI include building an HR onboarding product from scratch and re-architecting a tax compliance product. I also led integrations with major ERP and CRM systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Infor.

Eager to experience the dynamic startup environment, I headed the engineering divisions for a couple of startups. At these startups, I focused on developing innovative insurance technology solutions and voice-based information search systems leveraging artificial intelligence. This experience allowed me to deepen my expertise in cutting-edge technologies and agile methodologies.

I then joined Stena Group as the Head of Engineering. At Stena Group, I co-founded and led technology for Pello, a managed technology and services company, where I built many foundational functions necessary for the company. As Stenaverse was being conceptualized, I joined as a co-founder and CTO, helping to build the company from the ground up. In this role, I lead architecture, engineering, testing, technology operations, and project management. Our mission at Stenaverse is to develop a product that enables universities to break their information silos, offering comprehensive solutions for communication, ticketing, NIL marketplace, fan engagement, and other features.

I have over 25 years of experience in software development. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Aerospace and a Master's degree in Computer Science specializing in Machine Learning and Distributed Artificial Intelligence. Throughout my career, I have honed my product development, team building, and delivery skills, consistently driving technological innovation and operational excellence.
